I don't think the 13 post limit was bad or insulting, if you get banned and are let back into superfuture then you should be grateful for that alone, I don't think you can expect to come back into Sufu society from banishment and not expect to have restrictions placed on your account. Essentially Sufu is a Krytocracy of sorts, the admins/mods allowed Westside the opportunity to return but instead he wanted to throw a fit about no being able to post more than 13 times a day, which is more than enough for 85% of Sufu members, but considering he lives on Sufu it was difficult for him.

What is all of this privelage bullshit? The mods and wayne realize that it's the people on sufu that make it popular/great and not the behind the scenes stuff, right? Hell, the forum is what it is today because non-mod posters. If we throw limits on certain posters because of a prior agenda, can we have a rule in place that allows us to punch people in the throat for asking if APCs stretch? What about pointless circle jerking in superdenim threads? I love the dd+1 tour as well, but i thought people were all about post content being king now? Whatever.

I didn't think the trash was actually about quality posts either. I figured it was for junk threads (and posts), flame wars (which would include personal attacks), and psychorants of the superbored (meaningless posts).

if he just learned to shut the fuck up and act like a normal person, and understood that superfuture was great before his fucking stupid bullshit and that he ABSOLUTELY DID NOT MAKE THESE FORUMS, then i don't think there would have been a problem, and in time his post limit would have been lifted.

so all sorts of people showed up. some people showed up every day. some people showed up only once in a while. some people got tired of the parties and never returned. but all of these people made the party interesting to participate.

there were many rooms you could hang out at the house. some people liked to go from one room to the other. some people preferred to hang out in the same rooms. different rooms attracted different types of people. some people liked to bring things to show off to others. some people liked to share all sorts of information with others. some people just liked to chit chat.

then one day, in one of the louder rooms, some people started to spray graffiti all over the walls. when the hosts asked them to stop vandalizing the place, they didn't stop. but instead, they yelled back at the hosts accusing them of being uncool and even calling them names.

so the hosts decided to kick those people out. but after few days, because some of the other people at the party missed having those people around, the hosts decided to allow some of them back. but only if they stayed in one of the rooms and stopped vandalizing the place. but as soon as some of them were let back in, they went right back into vandalizing the rooms and calling people names.

without those people who are no longer welcome to the house, is the party a little less interesting? maybe. did the hosts have the right to kick them out in the first place? absolutely.

and could those people who were kicked out go somewhere else and start their own party with their own rules? why not.

1) Not at all. Maybe we're at cross wires but it appears from what he posted this morning (as an instant response to his unbanning) that he expected it.

2) Used to be that trash was an ironic term to cover all the interesting, quirky and unclassifiable subjects and discussions that didn't fit anywhere else, rather than a place to dump porn or be offensive.

And I defended my actions, because that is what you guys wanted me to do. In the riots, you criticized the mods for being too secretive, yet once i try to explain myself, you guys go off on how I shouldnt try to justify my actions.

Believe me, westside is no major loss. Almost all of his posts were nothing but chit-chat, so hes better off rampaging SuperChat. He's on there like 24/7 anyways. If anything, I feel sorry for banning him because he has no where else to go. Obviously his life revolves around the internet, and just about every other forum doesn't want him.

It's funny how, through rep and pms, i find out that alot of people actually support my banning of him. Westside groupies just happen to be very loud. Not to mention how he has some of you on a leash, and you don't even realize it.

Some of you people who support the banning of westside should really come out and say it. Try to explain to the others what happened, because frankly, Im tired, and I need to rest. Im off to borders to read a relaxing book about total anarchy and how it doesnt work.
