maybe someone should set up a exchange service.

so, one person accepts all the jeans and ships out the desired size?

let me ask gordon if he wants to handle this. if so, it would solve the "everyone wants to size down" problem.

If this were too happen then I'd let go of my 32's and try and snatch up a pair of 31's . I only wore them for 3 days so theres no wear on them at all. I took them off while I'm trying to decied what to do about them being so big.

Still haven't recieved the email. I hope I get my pair before 11/5. I preordered on the first day but my pair is one of the last pairs being shipped out. How ironic. However, since I haven't seen no. 1 yet, there still might be a chance to get no. 1 :D

I assume this means 2nd batch of jeans will have definitely arrived from Japan by next week? I'll have to stop by BiG when I get back to NYC. Hopefully my 28s are in!

Is part of the sizing problem due to the fact that everyone is soaking/airdrying the jeans? Gordon says to just machine wash and put them in the dryer. Otherwise you won't get all the starch out and that prevents the jeans from fully shrinking. I'm pretty sure cheep did it this way and his fits look fine even though he didn't size down as much as a lot of ppl here.

so the waist shrunk 2 inches and the inseam shrunk 2.5 inches! i still have a little bit of room at the waist, but nothing a belt will resolve. they fit perfect everywhere else. these really remind me of my pbj xx-005, except they are roomier in the thigh which i like.

try to take some pics later.

Thanks for the measurements kert. Remarkably, the waist is 2 inches (!) smaller than the BiG chart shows.

yeah, i was wondering about that too. i'm glad it was a 32 rather than a 34. when i saw the charts on big's site i was a little worried. i measured them the big way, and came up with a 32.

Soaked mine last night. Sorry no newspaper. I was too excited and too tired from work to remember to buy one on the way home.

In a moment of weakness I decided I couldn't wait anymore and decided to soak my jeans. They are inthe tub right now, I'll probably give them a 3 hour soak now and another soak after I get them hemmed.

The newspaper shot, bonus point: Habs won 7-4, crazy.

And some pre-soak pictures. Seat is a bit tight now but overall I think these should be fine once the shrinking is out of the way.
