You'd be surprised how much difference a quarter or half inch can make. It completely changes where the jeans will fall on some shoes.

These shrink a fair amount but also stretch a ton. I have a size 34 in the 660's and my waist measures around 36.5" or 37". I think the one pair left on BiG is a 35, what is your measured waist, or measure a pair of jeans that fit you well in the waist.

To be honest, stacking looks terrible on anything over an 8.25 or maybeeee an 8.5 inch hem. I wore my size 34's un-hemmed for a few weeks and they looked terrible, at least in my opinion.

I agree. I have yet to get my pair hemmed and the stacking just dosent quite work for me on these.

They are coming along nicely! The honeycombs will come, they just come quicker for some people more than others.

I was seriously debating whether or not to post anything. I mean, who wants to see barely faded jeans? So I decided to throw caution to the wind and post a bunch of other pictures in hopes of distracting you.

I was out the last few days on a business trip to Vegas and saw some interesting things.

Day 27 - 3/5/08

While waiting in line to check in at the hotel, I noticed this guy's pre-faded combs were on his calves. And he wasn't sagging.

I don't gamble, so #102 and I had to find alternate means of entertainment. Paid a visit to The Boneyard. It was a really interesting look into Vegas' (often organized-crime-laden) past and got a lot of good info on now-defunct hotels and casinos.

Saw this and was reminded of a certain frequent poster to this forum while making the 8 mile walk back to the Strip.

Day 31 - Today

So here they are after a solid month of wear.

Anyone remember this?

Picked it up from corter and put it in my back pocket on Day 4. REAL cool guy and was a pleasure dealing with him while he was working on another custom piece for me.

Here's what it looks like today. Thinking about trying to clean off as much of the indigo as I can and tanning/oiling it. Also, around Day 12, I found this little canvas pouch that came with a pair of Capital E's I got a while back. Started throwing coins in it and keeping it in my pocket... it's kinda starting to turn blue.

Anyway, that's it. I promise not to bore you with another post until I have some real progress to show. Gonna wrap up with a shot of the Strip from the top of Mandalay (not too shabby for a crappy six year old point and shoot).

This thread doesn't have enough pics, so those are greatly appreciated! And the card holder looks like it's coming along pretty well, corter is a great guy, I just got a regular snap wallet a week or two ago from him and I love it.

Post some more fit pics, they look to fit you really well if that's you to the right of the big sign in that picture.

that'd because when you bend your knes, it kinda pulls the jeans a little high and they end up on your calves. well, that kinda happens to me. honeycombs all over the place.

Oh, I didn't even look at who posted them, well they look great!

Mine are currently in the washing machine. I'm not sure if I should consider this a wash or not, they've been getting pretty gross over the past few weeks between parties and being drunk and spilling food all over them. I put them in the washing machine on a "light soil" setting but I didn't put in any detergent or soap.

My boring update. Ignore the gross shoes, I was working out before I took the pictures. They could be a bit more contrasty to make them more accurate, it was a bright day but cloudy, once I can get some pictures in the actual sunlight you'll be able to see the real contrast more. That and my shadow covers the right leg in the picture of the backside, my honeycombs are not that messed up and the right leg is not that much darker.

Start date was November 13, 2007. I've done 3 hot soaks (which includes two at the beginning), and then put them in a washing machine on the "quick wash" setting but with no detergent twice. I should also add that I'm in High School at a school that has a dress code, so I can only wear them nights and weekends, at least until September when I go to college.

Crotch is finally starting to give a bit, a few of the threads are going loose and the denim is beginning to fray. I'm sure after another few weeks they'll need to be repaired.
