Dior homme 19cm MIJ size 27. Bought on 1/8/09 and worn every day since (I even wore them indoors on rainy days). I am 5'4" =( so yes I had to hem them. I unfortunately got them hemmed about 2 inches shorter than I would have liked.

Being 5'4" sucks when it comes to clothes...

LOL. Listen, I posted a picture of my jeans before there was much wear and got railed for it. But this is an evolution thread, and evolution doesn't occur with 1) raw state, and 2) worn state, there is an in between, and in my opinion, I love seeing that. So rock on man, keep posting.

name a single time when being a 5'4" guy DOESNT suck.

*bushwalking/hiking. tall lanky muthas always seems to cop more branches and what not in the face.

*when your face is buried deep in some tittays... and you're standing up.

*if you're a drag queen.

*if you snowboard/skateboard/surf... especially surfing.

I'm 5'5" and it's great for rock climbing. A low center of gravity isn't all bad.

i just don't find the fit flattering anymore. I think something that slim in the thighs deserves to be tapered.

Keep in mind, they are freshly washed right now and have slimmed down considerably. After a week or so of wear, the proportions balance out nicely. They certainly won't be tapered.

Where you get those? They're hard to find and pricy to boot, any idea what's the difference between the denim used on this model and the XX Type?

We get them directly from the Denime company over at Japan. We used them as the competition jeans over at mynudies.com

I cant tell much about the difference between these and the normal XX type other than that these are 15oz and that the normal XX type is 14,5 oz..

Picture time! Again, these were worn for 115 days as of May 19th, 2009, one initial hot soak, and on the 19th a hot wash with woolite and hot tumble dry.
