At some point I'll do a more legitimate job of re-photographing these, but for now...

APC NC 14 Months, 2 soaks, 2 washes

Battery acid is eating them alive, day by day. Despite the fact that slim jeans AND apcs have kind of fallen out of favor, here on SUFU, these jeans have been pretty incredible. They've held up really well, and with dedication, you can still get some pretty great color out of the denim.

These guys are headed to Imogene and Willie for a crotch reinforcement, and then into semi retirement. My BSPs are glaring at me from their hanger. Sorry for the crappy phone pics.

those look great. apc's are pretty much the honda accord of denim at this point. i don't think they'll ever go out of style.

This is a pretty good way to put it. Seconded. Just got a warehouse job and I've pulled out my APCs with about 6 months of wear that I shelved a while back. It's a pretty dirty job, so I'm curious to see what it does to them.

I gave my friend my Imperial Shearer's since I no longer wore them as much. It also had to do with the fact that I couldn't handle seeing him wear his 2% spandex "jeans."

We both just got done doing a beach soak.

Imperial Shearer's

God knows how long.

1 wash.

1 beach soak.

THanks. Initial soak and three washes I think. AS far as the crease on the back... I have no idea, but I might have seen it on other jeans of mine so perhaps it's a peculiarity of my misshpapen physique...

For my money this is my favourite Cone fabric... it has a different character at every stage, in the early days it's a very black blue, with a fair amount of crocking, a bit like Sammies, but they don't fade anything like as quick, and eventually you seem to get this real 3-D, subtle fade, rather than exaggerated slubbiness.

I think I've seen Warehouse that look better (altho other people's jeans often look better than your own) but these are maybe my fave fades of anything I've owned.

THis is them at one wash, six months.
