Tips for small guys?

Hey guys (my first post, go easy on me!)

I'm fairly small. 5'5'' and very thin. I've been trying to get a "tighter fitting" closet lately and I'm having a really hard time. "Small"s fit me loosely, and "Extra small"s fit me OK. Nothing gives me a nice athletic fit. I've been working out and I have gotten more muscle mass, but everything is still not snuggly. Also, I can never find a shirt that ends right at the waist, even if the shirt is slim fitted.

Any tips on where to shop? I also live in the South Florida area, so no nice shops here like NYC =(

P.S. I do get most of my clothes tailored (Kind of a must.)

You've found the mecca for info on Japanese clothing (in English). I normally wear a small in most clothing, and with some of the Japanese stuff I've bought, I've had to go up to a large, so that may be a direction you'd want to explore.

Pretty much I wear Jap labels now only because things fit me 100%.

Try japanese labels or if you have gap and those they usually fit me and I'm the same height I believe or an inch taller although 20 pounds heavier haha.
