You've got the right idea. Statistics show that over 60% of helmet impact will hit the face first...the most hit area? The jaw line, including chin. No way i ride my Triumph without my full face EVER. Open face helmets offer zero protection, might as well wear a baseball hat.

get a full face. google images of what happens to your jaw in an accident. click on images and be horrified. i may only ride a Vespa (it does 150kph though) but you don't want to fuck with your face man.
