i left school when i was eight years old to go and work in the coal mines...my family was so poor that i had to have dripping sandwiches for dinner...my favorite was once a week when we had hot dog soup...mum and dad had the hot dogs and us kids had the soup....

i wish i had gone to school now...and the coal mines took thier tool on my health...my pet canary died one day...i had to run and was so scared...

now i am reduced to begging out side on teh street...i have done it long enough to know where the good foot traffic is so mostly i get food everyday and sometimes i get a roof over my head...

please stay in school...

Done some college, figured out it wasn't for me. So far in life I have done better just networking and being out in the world.

big up

wish i had the guts to do this

still, i'm glad i finished college, and that my family paid for a lot of it

i ended up doing pretty well, and i feel like i got a good education, so i'm grateful

law school is in the future, but i need to hit 30 first

you've got your whole life to have a career

you only get one go round with your youth

straight chillin = working ???/

i was more chilled when all i had to worry about was my bit of paper / degree

comparing the semester with just working during the summer, i'd rather get everything over with from 8 to 5 and have free evenings and weekends to do what i want than to spend most of every day doing (or worrying about) readings, papers, etc.

i'm a junior... who will probably lose all college motivation after getting back from a spring semester in japan...
