Either no-show socks. Mocc socks, or JCrew sells some no shows, so does Falke.....or full length socks. Never in between, never just a bit of sock peaking.

I've had a good experience with both Moccsocks.com, or the ones from JCrew.

i wear thin socks with them in colder months, and no-show socks in warmer months. no socks with leather lined shoes is pretty gross in my opinion, but i do have really sweaty feet. hyperhydrosis is a bitch.

Ok so I've been reading through the thread some more and the sizing is starting to worry me. I wear a Nike-13/Chucks-12/Sperrys-11.5 (I like a bit of extra space in my shoes) am I right to assume that I would be a 44 in CPs achilles?

I measured again and my foot length is about 11.5 cm (29cm) and I'm about 4.25 inches in width(10.5 cm) with socks on. I want a bit of space so would the 44s actually be the right size for me? Would the 43's work out at all?

^^ Short answer = no.

I wear a Nike-12/Chucks-11 and I run 45. About 0.5" of space up front BUT perfect in width.

I measured my foot (loosely) and it is about 29.5cm long and 11cm wide.

Haha. Funny, I just bought a pair but had them sent to Australia, where I will be visiting from Canada in the next month. So I am yet to try them. I own the suede desert boot, leather training boot, canvas tournament high, perforated tournament velcro low and leather OG BBall highs, all in 45 and they all fit exactly the same. I would imagine the achilles will fit the same too...

I don't know man, but I wear a 44 in the achilles and I'm like a US12 in everything. Got them for sale though.

if you are a 13 in nike, i'm pretty sure 44 achilles will be too small. i'm a US 12 in most nike and am a 44 in achilles - i have a pair in 43 but they are insanely narrow/tight.

Epiphany, I pretty much have the same sizing as you (13 Nike/12 Chucks) and wear a 45 in Common Projects. I even tried a 46, but determined it was too big eventually. Don't think there's any way you could be a 44.
