Organic Denim

Any heads out there have thoughts and tips about organic denim? I'd love to find an organic raw denim to love.

I know Levi's has the ECO stuff and Loomstate does some organic but how do they perform?

FOB Factory makes raw selvedge denim jeans with organic cotton. i love my F151's

What I don't like about the ECO is that some models have strange pockets and they are priced way above what I can justify.

Nudie has an Even Steven model in Organic Raw. It has a greencast tint to it.

Howies do some, not all models are raw. Other than ethics I dont know why organic is better, I guess if your gonna be living in the denim for 6months you might feel better if its all natural but then half the organic denim is dyed with synthetic indigo anyhow. Between my organic selvedge howies and my other japanese ( non organic to my knowledge ) I cant tell much difference. I dont think being organic or not really does affect it too much, not as much as other variables..

i was at h&m today, they have organic cotton denim raw DEminZ. the indigo is probably not natural, didn't read it though. like $40 or so

nudie's organic denim is pretty nice. on the light side, but pretty tough for nudies.

i own some of the Nudie Grim Tim Dry Dirt Organic's

they are great, i love em.

they smell like a barn though, that dry straw smell, its funny.

great jeans though.

Nudie do other organic jeans though, i think they do a slim jim, tight long john, thin finn, an even steve as well, which was mentioned earlier.

some are dry, some are washed.

It doesn't need to be all organic but I'd like that all my denim were made from non-genetically modified cotton. I should become cotton farmer meself...
