and i love chris smith, hes hilarious. not my type of thing but it looks good

Chris is the man. I got it when i was staying at a friend's house in Chicago, and they were telling me about another tattoo parlor there that they really liked. I'd been wanting to get one for a while, but i didn't know what I wanted, and while looking for ideas i saw:

which is what I took to chris. I actually went in as a walk-in and chris, who happened to be the only artist who wasn't busy, drew it and did it in about 3 hours.

I am into neo-traditional/american-traditional sorta style tattooing, I travel frequently and could easily get work done in; basically anywhere in ON and BC as well as montreal and calgary.

Thanks in advance, any help is greatly appreciated as truly skilled artists are veeerrryyy difficult to find.

Archive tattoo in Toronto is my place. David Glantz, the owner, is a buddy and one of the best artists in the city. He did my steve mcqueen portrait in a what he called a low-brow/realism style. Think traditional but with a lot more detail and colour. Check them out.

my beautiful pet cat caprice was hit by a car on saturday night and lost her battle today.

ive never had any urge to get a tattoo because i didnt feel like anything was important enough to have on my body for the rest of my life

as cliche as it my be, i want to get a memorial tattoo for her. something simple, just lettering, maybe her name and years of birth and passing

if anyone has any examples of some nice memorial tattoos id love to see some to draw some inspiration

There are too many ways to go about this, but if you want text, some script would be cool..

Got time on Thursday with Dan at Smith St. to fill the void in the middle of my stomach.

Still not sure what I'm getting - the space is a pretty weird shape.

Very stoked though!
