Wow indigo junkie has these too! Good for you man! I really really like these, such a nice fit, quite high rise but the legs feel really good, and I expect once they have shrank a smidgin they will be perfect.

this really shows what these are like- its like slubby structure denim, check out the rogue warp knot! I really cant imagine how these will behave, I expect they will crock alot, I already have a smurfed keyboard. These are beautiful jeans, Id say the warp ( thats the blue one right? ) varys in size so much that it actually triples in places, some parts its very thin, smaller than APC warps, and you can see alot of white weft showing, in other places its almost quad-droupled in size and the weft is no where to be seen.

Yeah, I actually snapped em up a while ago but what with 3 consecutive celga paypal payments taking 8 business days each to clear......I had to be patient, and what with 3 failed attempts behind me I got to thinking fate just didnt want me to have em.... I pretty much resigned myself to them being lost in the post!!!

Ill post fit, I cant understand the appeal of raw fit pics but ill post one, actually I was going to do one today but the battery ran out then it got dark! - Doh!.... Anyhow ill also post- post soak fits and slub detail.

Sorry if im being a postwhore, but I allways just want more and more pics of speciality jeans like the shoais and what not etc, heres a bonus pic of the eternal patch, its thicker than the usual one ( I think ) and shiny! Wow!

Here are raw fit pics, I look bad in them, but im sure once they shrink a tad an become more supple they will fit nicely and drape better.

And here they are in WYWT format. Im wearing em a la old man, but if I slouch em the stiff fabric looks all weird so with the waist band around by my nipples you get a better impression of the sillouette.

heres me looking stocky

the fit hasnt really changed too much, neither has the fabric character, except losing a bit of shine. I stretched the waist while they were damp, I think next wash I wont touch the waist, because I wouldnt mind the waist being a tad snugger. The seat feels roomy but I hope that as the fabric softens it will drape nicer. They are pretty stiff still, I could stand em up after the soak - I wanted to do a ghost in the denim pic but by the time I had go my camera they had fell over and they wouldnt stand up again!

They are going to be a nice relaxed straight leg- which is what I wanted. They still just ooze indigo.

i think there are still some larger sizes. I used spe's shoppervillage japan and the service was faster than xcoldricex back in the day (sorry rice...) - it took five days from start to finish to my mailbox. There was a lot of drama in his thread, but I'd like to put my two cents in and say that the extra in fees he charges is not completely unreasonable.

eternal 872. Similar cut, must be identical fabric. For all intents and purposes the same jean in my eyes - except for the absense of "10TH ANNIVERSARY" specialties like numbers on the pocket tags, or the a patch reminding you of the decade of eternal. 18oz, streakishly slubby. Heres the best bit - 30, 32, and 34 in stock.

You know I went a bit nuts over these, trying to get my size, lots of people wanted a pair but couldnt find any. Maybe eternal had some yards left over from 350 tenth anniversary jeans and knocked a few of these out under a slightly different name? I dunno.

Does anyone know if these jeans numbered as a limited run like the 868s? From what I could see from the Maeno corp (Eternal) site, it looks like a permanent part of their 2007 line up, along with the stalwart 811 and the new 801.
