LEE selvage jeans....what are these? and worth?

I was surfing around ebay and found these Lee selvage jeans:

they look really nice. I thought bootcut selvage was impossible however??? What's the deal with these, and any advice on the quality? thx in advance

I'm wearing a pair of those right now. Lee Roscoe X-line. They're real nice new and get even better with age. Although what I hear is that they're only "half" selvage, whatever that means... Anyway it's a nice pair of jeans, def worth 60 bucks.

Nice jeans. You can do a slight bootcut as long as your outside leg seam remains straight and follows the selvage. (ie you add a slight flare to the inside leg)

Lee Europe X line. Lots of nice details - close double stitched fly, crotch & waistband, single foot-width stitched front pockets, coloured pocket bags, single stitch yoke, wide belt loops....

Those are full selvage. Other Lee styles have the classic half selvage.

I have these also... love them, My favorite pair! NOTHING fits and hangs as perfect as these jeans in my opinion.

Those are nice and they are full selvage. Half selvage would have one end selvage and the other end surged when you look at the outseam. The are probably worth bidding up to $125+ if you really want them.

Nice, im going to keep my eye out for the X-Line, i like the idea of some selvedge denim in modern cuts (im presuming they are more modern cuts?). DOes anyone know any other models in that range, specifically and 5pkt jean with a little lower rise than a traditional 501cut?

They are traditional Lee cuts, usually the 101Z version or the ROSCOE.

Not all x-line Lee's are selvage tho. I got a pair of x-line Dillon's which aren't.

Definitely not. The line is merely a representation of what was popular back in the days and what cuts are popular _now_, not a LVC copy.

Does anyone know how these wash out? They look to have been worn in slightly to get the process going. Once washed once as the auction claims, does this prove detrimental at all to the wearing out process or would it actually aid by removing the sanforization?
