edit: yeah, hotd2 is fucking stupid, but with unlimited lives, it's like fuck it. it took us like 22 credits to beat it :] also unlimited bemani games are a treat too

no it's more about the denial by my generation of the previous generations claim on Dylan. I've had long talks with my parents and plenty of older friends about this and how my generation has laid claim and denies the right to the older generation over lots and lots of things. It's not about relating or understanding, its more about possession and want by my peers.

Does the new hipster generation really idolize modern bob dylan though? I miss out on this scene living in florida and don't really know what's going on. I'm kinda intrigued though. Although, i know that if i was in your situation and around the people it seems you're around, i'd be as livid as you.

Rolling Stone blew a load over Dylan about a year and a half ago when he released his most recent album that completed some trilogy. I listened to the whole thing and found it to be utter trash. And then because of the hype by Rolling Stone, Dylan was played up to my generation as a "must-have for cool" commodity. Dylan is cool if you give it the respect you deserve, but I've gotta say, we're all far too selfish and self-interested to make our interest in Dylan be about the music rather than being about how cool we have to come across.

I think it has DDR. Has air hockey for sure! Has Drum Mania, which is less fun now that Rock Band exists. Also has Beatmania, which is kind of like Guitar Hero for DJs.
