She's a close friend of an ex. We'd all hung out together before but I didn't start developing feelings for her until, by chance, we were in a class together. Ironically, so was a different ex of mine who I do not care for.

We hit it off right away. I mean, immediately. It got to the point where no matter where she was in the studio, if something was funny we both knew to immediately look at each other and smile or laugh. It got to the point where we couldn't not smile when we would look at each other. That has to mean something.

So it's been a little while, not a long, long while.

Well this is where it gets even more complicated, she's bisexual and up until about a year ago she basically refused to talk about it and I actually had "guessed/assumed" she was a lesbian. We met at uni and for the first 18 months she was dating a girl who she roomed with (although I wasn't supposed to realise this) and I had a gf. She doesn't talk about relationships much but she will ask someone out if she likes them. I'm certain she liked me when we first met but neither of us did anything about it and then we both ended up in relationships, I think now we're permanently in the friendzone.

If I wasn't such close friends with her i'd tell her and take the risk but i'd be very upset if I said something and it made things awkward between us. You need to judge where your friendship is going, if like you say, you don't see each other that much any more then personally I would tell her how you feel - worst case is she reacts really badly and never speaks to you again but that doesn't seem likely.

I'm seeing her again for the first time since I told her tonight, but it's only as weird as you make it.

It's only weird for me in that it sucks, but I'm not sure if it sucks more or less than not telling her. It was just earlier than I planned (was gonna wait till she graduates at the end of the year).
