Did anyone else get their jeans shipped free from apc.fr?

Yeah back in the day... But only because their site was down for a couple days (that used to happen a lot) & so to make up for it they shipped free for a minute.

The JR Californias are a straight leg, a little bit skinnier than the APC Unisex. Mine were $230 or so I believe, but I had to pay someone extra to ship them to me from Sweden.

Fold the ankle up to the knee and see for yourself. Ankle is narrower than the knee.

what would happen if you washed the jeans before you wore it, will it still be able to fad color over time? how about over a really long time?

jeans were lying around, so someone washed them... sad to say, still possible to get the wear and wrinkly effect? I sort of know the answer, but just want to make sure.

It's been said here... probably 4,322,845 times that you can continuously get wear on jeans, no matter if they've been washed or not. You just accelerate the process and get more contrast if you don't wash them.

hey wild_whiskey, but how about your nudies? it seems to me you accelerated the wear by washing them. Or possibly the difference is in that you used starch too?

The starch just helps so that they still stay stiff even after washing (but they only stay stiff long enough to make some creases, not for more than one day or anything). Mine are pretty distressed because I wear them to the beach, bikeriding, dancing, everything. I do a lot of physical activity in them. With all that physical activity, it's a necessity to wash them

As far as I know the quality is the same no matter where they are made.

That being said, the quality is good enough!

Look on google or search this forum for Kaihara, Kurabo and Ital. They all make selvedge denim. There are more suppliers, but those are a good start.

Im buying their items, but then again through an agent. I basically want to have more supply which i beleive the guy is not helping me out with.

thanks for the info. unfortunately, most of the items are sold out. the new standard jeans only available in ecru or blue dyed, and extremely limited sizes. i was going to stock up...oh well...

got my rescues back today from the tailor that APC recomended. i think they hemmed them a little to short tho. anyone else go to g&g for their tailoring?

that sucks dude. try to stretch them out after washing while still wet. you can also call the tailor and ask him/her to keep or find the original hem and sew it back on. my tailor did this once, it showed he cared.
