I'm saying that the metric of "less obvious" appears to be unmeetable. The frequency in this thread of people disputing an individual tomato's obviousness bears this out.

If the selection can't be attacked on the basis of "wow, she's so attractive anyone would want her" then it can be attacked on the basis of either "she's not attractive" or "who the fuck is that."
