Craft LA has a few MF pieces on sale. I don't think they have the sweatshirt though.

I think the sale at MF was last fall and it was more like a markdown than a sale. I think most of the vests you see here including my own are a result of that markdown

baldy i had the same problem, 32 was to tight and 34 was huge on me, tried them bot at SENY. i had to find and proxy a 33, it was the only way.

It's not as nice as the original IMO. The grey waistband and cuffs make the piece.

If those chinos are anything like the rider version, the sizing is really tricky. For the riders, I wear a 32 in the chinos and a 30 in the dungarees. Even though the chinos are larger, they are tighter around the waist because they shrink like hell and don't stretch much. The lengths of the two are about the same--around 32 inches.

My normal dress pants inseam is about 30":

Does anyone have any post-soak measurements of the mechanics shirt?

I'm wanting the black one, but I've seen on the Self Edge site where the chest will shrink 1.5", and I've seen some posts where it will shrink down a whole size.

I generally wear shirts with a 21" p2p, so unfortunately the raw medium would be perfect, but that won't do me much good once it is washed. My concern is that the large, with a chest of 45, won't shrink enough in the wash.

Also, has anyone picked this up from JCrew? I've heard that it's been washed. Is that the only difference between the shirts? Anyone know anything about the sizing on those? I asked the sales specialist or whatever they call it and they said they don't have the measurements available to them.

Katherine at Mister Freedom can help with this. They usually wash some of their garments just so they can see how much they shrink. Yeah, J Crew usually washes all of their MF shirts, and if you call, they have the measurements. So, you could figure it out that way and then order from MF or SE (and get free shipping).
