The new Marc Jacobs Vans came into Bleecker NYC store last night. The line looks pretty good and I'll most likely buy the red plaid model. You can see the shoes on their website under "Special Items".

Those are pretty nice. First hightop shoe I've seen in a while I liked. Does anyone know the price point on these things / a Marc Jacobs store locator?

the white sk8 hi's and white old skool's are the only things that remotely caught my eye.

not a good year for mj vans in my opinion.

the problem i always had with the MJ vans was the material he used...weird plastic-y stuff, especially on the tongue which rubbed my ankles like all hell. I bought a pair last fall and really ended up hating them..the fit was wrong too. totally uncomfortable in just about every way.

also i'm not huge on the designs, i think MJs own stuff is far and away better.

what i meant to say was, those don't look too special...what with the material posing problems, the line doesn't look too good. i liked the crossword puzzle slip-ons when they first started out

You can also go to Undefeated La Brea (maybe Silverlake too, Im pretty sure they don't have them) or Blends downtown. They cost $95 everywhere Ive seen them. I got my brown patent sk8his at blends recently, and I think all the previous season ones are still on sale.
