lol I got neg'd a while back too:

RRL Rodeo Ralph Lauren 05-19-09 01:04 AM DCDenim you think if I get neg rep and get banned it matters? I'll just come back with a new account and keep making fun of faggots like you who wear WOMENS jeans.

But I washed today after ~4 months, so pics to come. The rinse water was very greenish-blue...

whoa! you have a brand new mac that's so cool

someone who gets 'well paid' could spend $220 on a pair of jeans without even thinking twice or begging employees to hook them up.

And seriously, bragging about hookups from an employee isn't wise, someone from the melrose store could be reading this and your friend 'casino' would be out of a job - isn't wise to name drop either.

I guess your definition of well paid and mine are completely different, as to be expected.

are you retarded? casino is the associate that usually helps me out at the rrl store. he has nothing to do with any discounts or anything like that. you're really not too bright eh DC? and there's no begging involved.

and your mentality of not thinking twice about dropping $220 on a pair of jeans has gotta change. that's just not smart. if you want to live check to check for the rest of your life that's your choice. that shit's not for me though.

yeah whodini knows really knows his shit, he knows almost every Sales Associate from around the country, GM's, people at the 'Corporate' level, even Ralph Lauren himself (since he seems to know what he likes and doesn't like...) Yet somehow only owns two pairs of 10 year old zip fly RRLs, missed the memo about RRL making Womens merch for the past 8 years which I had to clue him in on and is responsible for 'gems' like this

As far as I'm concerned, both of you are just here to shamelessly plug farenellis, at least whodini is, since styleforum business must not be doing so hot.

I'm not sure who you're trying to convince that I'm somehow making shit up about my connections or my knowledge. Clutching at straws... By now you've got everyone dead-set against you to the point that they wouldn't even cross the street to take a piss on you if you were on fire.

I've never said how many pairs of RRL I own but mention two pairs to fuck over your "I've only seen prototypes" bullshit and I clearly do not take an interest in womens fashion as much as you do.

I'd ask what mentioning a store that carries RRL has to do with styleforum but what's the use.

Discounts are not allowed for 'friends' at RRL stores.

Fact is, you need a discount to buy $220 jeans and I don't, so it speaks volumes about who lives paycheck to paycheck here.

If you guys wanna keep talking shit take it to trash, otherwise please stfu and stop posting pics of fetish dolls.

I had a pretty sloppy sale experience last week. I went in to check out their flannel sale but didn't see anything in my size. One of the SA's told me he could have a flannel I wanted in my size shipped to the store so he took down my info and said I'd get a call in a few days once it arrived. I repeatedly said I did NOT want it shipped directly to me as I would be in and out of LA a lot and didn't want it to just be left at my doorstep.

Sure enough, I get back from traveling and find a FedEx slip that I can't sign for because the package needs signature confirmation. Wasted most of the next day waiting around for the shirt to arrive; not only did it turn out to be too small but they also charged me more than I expected (should have been 30% off according to the sales rack) and charged me $15 for shipping (which wasn't bad but then again I was never told about it or even given a proper total at the store).

The good news was that I went in today to complain and get a refund and the same SA not only apologized but brought out the store manager who also apologized for the inconvenience. They were both thoroughly genuine and not only gave me back store credit but also extended a future discount.

Bottom line was that while I was handled pretty sloppily the end result gave me a good reason to continue shopping there.

Hopefully Mauro, Chad, MJK, etc. won't read this thread and continue to think that all my available funds go strictly to them.

LOL

Xchen with the assist on my laundry bag.

From the post off the other SF (stalker much?), yeah, I had a sloppy experience with Melrose that was totally corrected. Has that anything to do with helping them out or having visited the showroom in NYC? Nope...

I guess dc will soon proxy, sign up a new account, calls us all fags, and say none of us known what we're talking about because he has two pairs of jeans... I can't wait. I knew I subscribed to this thread for a reason.

soonami, how long on that pair?

They did not fade at all until about 3 weeks ago and it seems like they've reached that plateau where enough the excess indigo has rubbed off and now it's getting down to the thread.

Just look at this water:

And this was the second rinse with water, hand-wrung without soap

doesn't look like pre-distressed as RRL usually does a better job than most. Yeah, does not look like bona fide fading

But definitely too big, just look at the waist around the belt by the fly that is definitely pulled in by the belt.

They are too big. I bought a 32, but they stretched to a 35. And they're only around 4 months old. As far as the wear on them, I guess I'm still too green in the denim world to know much, but that's why I'm here. Give a guy a break, I'm just trying to contribute. I'm gonna pick up some raw low straight 30's soon, I just need to transfer them into my store. If you'd like some hit me up, I work for the company and might be able to help. Just go easy on the greenies, we want to play too.
