My friend got pulled over in some ghetto-ass neighborhood for being white. Turns out he had like half a pound of mushrooms and 40 pills in his trunk. I dunno, reading is pretty easy as long as you're relatively literate and can do guess work easily, especially for the vocab.

i miss my girl......seeing her in sydney last week was great, but now im back here, the fact that she has moved away has really sunk in that much more.

im fucking exhausted and i have so much shit to get done in the coming weeks. my schedule is hectic to say the least....hence minimal sufu time as of late. uni is killing me, the internship im doing is full on, and we are going out on tour in about 5 weeks. its crunch time.

speaking of which...

my band eleventh he reaches london's song 'hill of grace' has been nominated for best heavy rock/metal song at the 2008 WAM (western australian music industry) song of the year awards. the winner is voted on by an industry panel, and we didnt actually win, but the nomination is a nice little pat on the back.

I still work for Kaplan part-time teaching the SAT course. Its funny hows theres really only two kinds of students I get. Either the students who are horrible and need all the practice they can get or the students who are already excellent and are looking for those extra like 10 points.

I've never seen someone who already got decent scores go up more than like maybe 40 points or so. I know I took a few private classes just because it's the thing to do and I only went up like 20 to 2180. I think the closer you get to 2400 the less you're going to get out of those classes. If you're above 2000 I'm not convinced there's a point.

not totally true. my sister (not me cuz the best i could get into is wisconsin) got in the low 1500s (when it was 2 sections), and finished 2nd in a class of 600, but got shat on by yale and harvard. Got into Northwestern and went there, though
