not to even mention Black Album and probably some of the most succesful concerts and touring in hip hop history. despite what you think of the rivalry itself, and despite any more than obvious artist preferences here, your claim is just fucking ridicilous.

So dumb.

I know you guys are all listening to that new Killer Mike on loop, right? RIGHT? I sorta slept on him his whole career and now I feel the urgent need to go through all of his old material.

Im really bored so Im going to expand on your dumbness:

The Blueprint 2 went platinum. Double platinum. I wont even mention The Blueprint 2.1's #''s.

The Blueprint not only went platinum but managed to sell nearly 500 thousand copies on 9/11.

why are you ranting about record sales? you sound steaming mad. if you're going on numbers than your argument is weak.

he took a 2 year hiatus in 04 + 05 after dropping blueprint 2 and black album. And if your argument of Jay-Z winning based on numbers, then its pretty weak. The man dropped 2 albums about how much Nas was on his mind and still couldn't get it the W, while Nas merely dropped 1 album and pretty muched summed it up in 2 songs. Got yourself a gun and ether. At the end of the day, the streets spoke. I give much respect to Jay but he took the L, just as you did.

can you not read? I'll break it down for you:

the original comment was that Nas fell (as in hasn't done anything great) after God's Son. to this you stated that he put out Stillmatic, which actually came out before God's Son, so basically you made a stupid mistake and your whole point was worthless.

you also argued that releasing Stillmatic caused an end to Jay-Z's career, which in fact has been extremely succesful since then. the hiatus has nothing to do with this especially considering it was after three highly succesful albums. and regardless of that, fuck what the "streets spoke" or what your personal opinion is, that has nothing to do with you making some absolutely incompetent remarks.

That whole Cassidy Free battle was like comparing isiah thomas to Wilt Chamberlain. Cass is all about that punchline but can't really carry a beat, when Freeway was callin' for a beat the whole time cause his rhyming patterns are ill:

Let me get five for twenty, or seven for thrity

That shit that you hear in the ghetto

They don't care in the hood

Cop four twenties and seven thirties

Then niggas disappear from the ghetto

Get snatched from the hood

Feds grab 'em, and some get put in the dirt

Some live in grime, good with the work

Stick up kids get hit with the nine

But the funeral parlor good with embalming fluid

Good with the hearst

Some niggas don't even grind

Philadelphia Freeway was a fuckin sick CD

Nas fell off the face of the earth after God's Son

Kiss' albums aren't that bad - him and P are probably the only two rappers in history to save their very best shit for mixtapes

Mucho propers for that. Exactly what I've been saying. 1. Cass and Free are two totally different styles...I happen to find Free's style a lot more interesting and creative...2. I don't know why people wanna pull the whole "excuse" card when he's asking for a beat...the man just wanted to go off with the flow...which he does everytime you hear him on some live radio shit. Say what you want about his recorded material...although I too thought the Philly Freeway CD was one of the best that year.

I don't know about that comment about P...HNIC is one of my favorite albums. Kiss' first shit was harder than his 2nd IMO...and neither are that bad.

Cats be promising but cats don't be comin through.

Uh what did I not come through with? Do I owe you something?

I agree about Free, his flow needs a beat. while Cass might've had some more witty lines in that battle overall I think Freeway is a hell of a lot more interesting in terms of actual songs and albums.

This is quite true. To me Cassidy usually comes through as your average rapper with some cool lines here and there but on the whole not very interesting. Freeway can rip a track to pices if he gets the right beat, just look a the guest spot on Hezekiah's latest record, that shit is proper.

Also Shawn Jackson, Danny! and Invincible have been bringing some heat lately. Check their records out.

Ahh...not bad. Free kills that one joint.

On another note...what's the best way for me to post these joints I'm tryna share with the public...Imeem or some public d/l site?

I find Zshare superior as you can listen to or/and download the track.

I dunno know, maybe this is played out already but fuck it. Supastition changed his name to Kam Moye and released a EP. I've had the download on pause for quite a while but finished it yesterday and it's actually pretty dope. Maybe not Chain Letters dope but still nice. This is not the same as the Leave of absence EP and the link is legit...

Also this is pretty funny but as I'm a retard and can't figure out how to embed Youtube videos you'll have to play nice and click the link.

hmmmm wonder if Mr. Norman Cook is seeing those royalty checks, crazy shit.

Not necessarily new hip hop but gotta recommend this blog: http://www.themeaningofdope.com/ . Mostly focuses on presenting rare footage (not shit you can find on youtube) from the golden era e.g. Biggie performing Big Poppa on Jon Stewart with live instrumentation!.
