This would have worked better if it was winter - but hang it outside, in the shadow of the sun for a couple of days and night. The air will simple clean it naturally. - Best if you're living outside of a big city!

doing that at the moment but want to find some alternatives in case it doesn't work

washing machine (0)

I did that with another leather and this jacket would probably fit me better if I threw it in the wash too but I'm a bit hesitant with this piece. (+ don't want wavy zips)

^^

Have you tried the freezer method??

Throw it a large ziplock bag , tape it shut for extra  security then leave it in there for a day or two..

Hang outside to get warm again.

theory is the freezing kills the germs and the breeze outside blows them from the garment

I did it with a satin dinner jacket once that was smelly of smoke and it worked really well..

Dunno if it will work for leather.

If it doesn't consult a leather cleaning specialist especially because it's a lamb that has undergone some work..

Maybe the folks at RO can help out?

They are always really nice with my girl when she tries to locate something or  has sizing q's..

Regarding the help your gf gets from RO - Can they also help you out with finding older Rick collections if you're looking for something specific?

thanks all!  I'll report back with results shortly!

alright, the jacket was hung inside-out for ~6 days and was still smelling under the pits so I tacked a few dryer sheets on the problem areas and let it sit for another 5-6 hours.  After that I gave the lining a good rub with the same sheets.  The odor seems to have gone away and hopefully the solution isn't just temporary.  Just gonna let it sit outside again for one more night.

anyone know where i can get some skinnies with an exaggerated taper?  preferably under 150, preferably black or dark grey.  if not, any alternatives?

EDIT: also, any advice on ordering from lad musician / finding a proxy?

As for proxies, I'm pretty sure 1 9 9 3 uses sutocorp, and he certainly buys a fair amount of Lad

didn't realize tenso had a service fee in relation to package weight. prices look good.

i use fromjapan and i'm not sure why you'd go with any other (suto, sharp, stylistics, etc.) who all charge 8-15% when fromjapan is 5% and has real-time bidding.

seems like the more you pay, the less you get.

I've heard the stan smith's that were just re-released are different in the UK (better quality) than the ones in the U.S. can anyone confirm? Also if so does anyone in the states have a suggestion for getting the europe ones?

I haven't calc'd FJ's stuff yet but it seems like they make you pay quite a lot of money just to use the bidding service (placing a bid)?

Is that refundable if you lose/want to back out?

more specifically, they charge a flat 200yen per item commission fee. your deposit has to cover the amount you want to bid, plus 200yen. after you've won the item, you authorize a payment to fj using either your deposit or through paypal/cc, which will be the item price + commission + 5% fee for using paypal/cc. that's "charge 1" as they call it.

if you want your deposit back, use the "adjust / release" option on the menu. it's automated so you get a paypal refund immediately.

So my question is the following, I am trying to find a nice pair of minimalist sneakers that are well made.  So the first company that is on most people's minds is of course, Common Projects.  This leads to my question.  I have been researching how common projects fit, and my research has showed me they vary from shoe to shoe, and as a whole, run long and narrow.  I am a size 13 in almost every brand, however my feet are flat which makes my feet wide, especially in the mid sole.  Will size 46 common projects most likely fit (the shoe I am considering are the BBall highs).
