good description. if you asked me I would have said the same thing about your style, just from your WAYWT pictures. though I would add, sockless loafers.

my style: worker, slim, military, with some monochrome stuff (that taste has transfered over from my more punk years and hasn't seemed to die off yet)

clean and comfortable, very little logo shirts, mostly white tees n graphic tees, loose fit, straight leg jeans loose but not oversized. clean, simple, not thinking too much bout it, comfortable, no screaming "im wearing some hyped and expensive name brand shit" stuff.

Lately, and hopefully my last... dark, scary, punk, a touch of goth, skulls, tailored, b&w, grey , edgy, asymetric, slim, distressed, ragged, grungy. no logos.

Tactical suburban hipster? Grunge surplus replicant? Transcendental yogic ninja? Not sure. Although I do know my style is suffering since I started channeling money into my post apocalyptic wardrobe. A guy's just gotta look the part in the dystopic future, and those artfully distressed technical fabrics don't come cheap.

my style since i was about 17 has been alot like chris but with mad winklepickers and almost no stripes. Very jesus and mary chain/ johnny cash influenced. Ive always liked the way the classic bad guys looked in almost every movie and i try to emulate that. I own way too many blacks/greys/reds. but i almost universally wear white tshirts if i can help it. However lately alot of my junior high hip hop/hardcore side has been coming out. Dont know where this will end up, probably a mix of dior homme and a more fitted supreme look. And nikes. I just cant fucking take it anymore, im getting addicted.

I am the black wizards.

i dunno, i don't really have a defined style these days. I mostly wear a tailored jacket, t-shirt, jeans and sneakers, kind of like Hedi Slimane's style. On most days when it's too hot i'll just wear a plain t-shirt and jeans. I guess "functional" would be a good description of my style.

What's the point of defining your style? Be defining your style, you're placing limits on yourself as a fashion-being.

Myself for example, I can only define my style as me. Simple as that. I wear what I want, how I want, when I want. I'll go to the casino in a beater, boardshorts, and flip-flops. If they don't like that, so be it.

I own a pair of Nike SB's (Tiffany's.. ironic how my ONLY pair of SB's is arguably the most hyped up pair), a pair of Jordan VI's, a couple of pairs of Vans (slips, authentics), some Sperry Top-siders.. I'm all over the place. This is just an example of how I don't define myself when it comes to fashion. Whatever I like, I buy.

I will concede, however, that as of recent, I've started wearing much more slim-fitting clothing. This might have something to do with the fact that I am no longer a teenager, paired with the fact that I recently lost some weight.

Regardless of my style, people seem to dig it. At risk of sounding cocky or whatever, not a day goes by where someone comments on what I'm wearing or asks me where I bought whatever article of clothing. Today, randomly some chick commented on my Nudies, and on two seperate occasions, random people asked me about my Vans (Z-cubes).

I do like to go against the grain. This much is true. I definitely do NOT like blending in with the masses. If this means wearing a neon green American Apparel thermal, then that's what I'm gonna do.

PEace!
