I know but budget might not stretch that far right now. Pointer coat is nice but they are sold out of my size and they told me they won't be making anymore in duck.

They're pretty great. I briefly had a pair that I sold because they didn't fit my thighs, but I wouldn't call them skinny.

Anyone have any experience with the Buzz Rickson Original Spec chinos? I was looking to pick some up, but I'd like to get an idea of sizing and any positive/negative thoughts.

the construction on them is what you'd expect from any buzz product, the talon zipper is an added bonus and the material is considerably thicker and more rigid than other chino pants. The cut is a straight fit.

None. In fact it'll stretch out after a few wears.

size down cant be worn over a shirt with front pockets, its to tight across the chest

Mine has stretched out a lot over 8-10 wears. I'm slightly bigger than you and I went for a L.

I picked up mine from SENY about 3 weeks ago and have been wearing it frequently. I'm about 160lbs, 5'11", and I grabbed a medium. A bit tight at first but it is definitely loosing up.

i am always between medium and large,i wear both sizes.the medium fits snug and looks good in the mirror and pics,but i feel more comfortable wearing the large.no chance i could wear a shirt underneath the m.

I had always written off the green BR as the lame duck of the bunch, but seeing all these fit pics it doesn't look half bad.

I have a large in grey, but I probably should've got the medium. The folks at History Preservation really like to talk you out of downsizing.

I wear a "L" (comfy fit) in the SDA sweater,could have gone for a "M" as well...

The only difference might be the sleeves. The SDA sleeves are a tad slimmer and longer..I actually prefer the fit of those, but BR is , well, a more authentic fit

My first purchase of Buzz Rickson product. it looks a bit large as people in other forum said so. but it fits my chest. I am sure if it is one size down, it would be a bit tight.

I hope it will be cold enough to wear this soon.
