Listened to Goblin today. I like the way he put it together, as far being schizophrenic and questioning everything. Also, his verses in general are decent. downside is that it's long as balls. We're talking 6+ minute songs and 18 tracks. Clocks in at like 1:20.

-bastard is so much better

-too much commentary

-my two favorite songs, yonkers and sandwitches, were already out prior.

the album isn't bad, but it didn't live up to the hype and the fact that when i first heard "yonkers" i almost shat my pants because it was so good. I think i had too high of expectations for this album and thought i would have that moment for all or at least most of the songs..

that being said, i love she and tron cat though. frank ocean's chorus on "she" is fire.

I hate agreeing with pitchfork but they're right on the money. its wayyyy too long. you could ditch 3-4 songs and trim some of the others down. (7 minutes of radicals is way too much).

There's some solid shit on here, but I'd take Bastard any day.

I like Goblin more than Bastard even if I prob like more songs on Bastard. I think the therapist narration is still so heavy-handed and corny. Someone could edit thos all down and it'd immediately deserve a better score. And any really high praise just makes me think that basedgod and waka were the only rappers you've ever heard before.

I did purchase the album though and I have been listening to it alot.
