helleaux! I thought I should introduce myself now that I've finally joined. I think I've been lurking since 2021 (!) but in late 2022 suffered a stroke which paralyzed me. however, I've been working to recover ever since, and this year started wearing my old clothes again. can't really work on fading jeans right now (I like pre-lawsuit "fake" levi's repros with the arcs) but I also love jackets so I'm committed to this t-back FW 46-47 for now. the rest is very old polo.24 points

aho, I'm a 42 or 44 in most coats -- 44, no doubt, in the Ooe chore coats (denim and ecru). The cut is unusual (A line from top to bottom) but it's meant to be worn very casually. The shoulder is rounded, not squared off at all. Takes some getting used to but a nice design -- different from most others.5 points

Here's one more post with some better lighting. These show the actual color more clearly. The 50s jeans I'm wearing are about a month old, and there have been no washes, so both of these are pretty close to their original color, plus a bit of fading. The 30s denim is super, super dark to start. It almost reminds me of SDA 100 denim in its hand feel and color. It is fading somewhat quickly, which the pictures can't show, especially compared to my Full Count type 2, which is almost 2 years in and is taking its time.4 points

Some detail shots of the 30s jacket. I'm super happy with the fit and material. I've been trying to get as much wear as possible every day for at least some length of time. The last shot is a close-up of the 50s and 30s together.3 points

Got up this morning and made the sleepy teenagers some breakfast.. a recipe of my own creation.. greek yogurt, toasted waffles and blossom honey.. they didn't get back from their hike till 12.30am ..went to Fox House ..picked a few boletes ..headed out to Mam Tor, ..blurry ..i'd seen some folks picking mushrooms here last week while on my bike ride.. they looked more like gentle hippies than Guardian reading micro-dosers.. which was a good sign ..yellow club fungus ..scarlet waxcap ..but these^ were not what i'd come for today ..bit of prep ..and some fan assisted air drying3 points

One update deserves another. These are the 01’s in the XX4 denim I think. I find this denim quite comfortable - rivaling fullcount - and also quite stubborn! Probably 5-6 months real time wear, the last month has me cycle commuting 5-10 miles a day in them 3-5 days a week. Washed 5-6 times, washing weekly now.3 points

I checked in with Simone earlier today... the plan remains to have the jeans to us in December... but, yeah, as we know (and I'm paraphrasing a touch here), no plan survives first contact with reality (Marshal Helmuth von Moltke the Elder said 'enemy' but it's clearly not appropriate here!). Single-man dependency risks certainly apply here! There's a load of pics on his Instagram and his website Alec - worth a gander if you haven't looked already - is anything missing? We're behind other work in Simone's queue so any new asks could cause timeline delays. We could see what he has easily to hand that's missing... but there are 5 different models in the contest we'd need to factor and we need to be careful to avoid delays matey.... also not sure what he keeps in stock, probably not much. Let's see where we land. Agreeing that them 5150s look very nice indeed!!2 points
