the movie was pretty interesting

it was mostly about the hiphop culture though

Ya, I did not really learn much about sneakers themselves, and I knew nothing to begin with.

Some of the sub-titles under peoples names I thought were kinda funny, clever, witty.

Man, that was unreal, I never knew. A few of those guys needed to quit with the shoes and move out of their Mom's house though.

Most of it wasnt anything new to me. The Run Dmc/adidas part was very interesting.

yea i thought itd be more showcasing some heads collections. i thought that was gonna be in it, maybe they had to edit it out for TV.

Anyone see Just for Kicks when it was out at the film festivals and can confirm or dismiss this?

i didnt think it was that great...

it didnt really go into sneakers alot..mostly hip hop...

and most the people they interviewed were all rap stars, etc... who have enough money to buy every pair...

it would have been better if they showed more people like that Rebel guy or something..

and they spent like half the film talking about Run Dmc..

I liked a few parts of it. But it definitely would have been better had they talked to some guys like RetroKid who really pack some heat.

I mean, don't get me wrong, everybody on there had heat...but it wasn't really quite the same "heat" that most sneakerheads think of these days. IMHO (I hate that little acronymn but it fits).
