It's very interesting to read what the majority of you seem to have faith in.

A lot of you seem to like streetwear.

Denim, sneakers, tee shirts, hoodies.

A few are attracted to other things/young designers.

Maybe i'm in the wrong forum, but i'll give you my list:

CLOTHING I CAN STAND BEHIND:

ANN DEMEULEMEESTER

DRIES VAN NOTEN

CLOAK

KITON

NEIL BARRETT

MARNI

MAISON MARTIN MARGIELA

each is for separate reasons, but i cant give you any more than that...and its already a lot.

the big thing i look for is consistency, and standing up to time. The only possible exceptions to this are Neil and Cloak. But I believe so strongly in them that i'm willing to overlook their relatively short time in the industry.

The one brand I'll stick with 100% is Yohji Yamamoto, his clothes represent me perfectly, when I put on some YY it's like a second skin. Other than that I like Dior Homme for jeans and suits (haven't found anything in the newer collection I wanted to buy), 45 RPM, Raf Simons makes great knitwear, and I love Junya Watanabe's high fashion take on streetwear classics but his stuff is too damn expensive. I find I don't really have a full wardrobe full of clothes by one brand, I'll pick something up if it suits my personality and look but probably Yohji dominates most of my wardrobe for tailored jackets, shirts, tees and knitwear.

No disappointment so far with:

Vans

Sugarcane

Buzz Rickson's (sweet repro jacket)

Element (I have an Element tee that just won't die, great quality cotton)

Levi's (slipping down my list though)

Daniel Hechter (just a nice shirt I got)

Anything army surplus. Like boots.

...and to think I actually used to iron denim.

Vans - ive had at least one pair in rotation at all times since age 10. thats loyalty.

APC - quality jeans, and no loud branding.

YSL - I work in a store, so im biased, but they treat their employees well, and my discount is RIDICULOUS
