Lots of people wear Air Force Ones, especially in NYC and London. I think they're losing a bit of popularity because of their "chav" connotations. I've never actually owned a pair myself, but will definitely be biting the bullet this months and getting myself some Stash X Futura ones.

Most people wear dunks because they are one of the best and most versatile shoes that Nike have ever done.

Yes they've been done to death, particularly with the whole SB thing, but there are more great dunk colourways than just about any other shoe I can think of.

AF1s are no doubt historical and will be an icon like Vans slipons and chucks, The simplicity and the history. but for me personally....

THey have fucking FRANKENSTIEN SOLES....especially on single color mid/outsoles like on white on whites....

And while there are alot of "cute" dunks that have come out over the last few years, they gain popularity due to their design simplicity ....and without that AF1smonster sole, and all the cute color combinations to match your clothing.
