I've never had a pari of Evis/u Japan and they are the next target. I'm torn between the 2101 and the 2000's What do you recommend (CTB)?

Between 2101 or 2000? The 2101 would be my preference, but you might find it difficult to source a deadstock pair with an Evis tag...

But the 2000s have a big fan club, too...

Slip of the mouse.....I meant the 2001. The rise on the 2000 cut looks too small for my tastes. Is the 2101 a Lee '50's cut? How does it compare to the 2001?

The 2101 is Leepro, but the cut is closer to a 2000 cut than anything else, although they're a bit fuller in the leg.

The 2001 cut is the standard Evisu cut, the classic. The buckleback 2004 cut is the same silhouette - the 2501 and 2504 are the respective Evis cuts. My favourite overall Evis(u) cut.

Yeah CTB has some great 2001 fit pics if you can find them on here. I think for me also the 2001/2501 is more to my liking than the others. It seems most people's taste are the slimmer type of jeans aound these parts but a nice straight cut with a little room to move looks really good.

I ended up selling both pairs of Evis on Ebay, bought by the same guy. The thing that worries me is its a brand new account, signed up the same day as my listings so I figured hes signed up specifically to buy them, did a bit of research and he sells vintage clothes in Malaysia. I sent the invoice straight away with a nice discount on postage and am yet to hear anything. I'll give it another day or 2 before I start chasing it all up. Bloody new accounts Hopefully the deal doesnt go through and have to do it all over again.

Also if anyone is interested in some Evisu 2101's theres a couple pairs of size 31 and 32 on Ebay coming out of Japan.

Those 2101's are not old stock they are new and must be only 2-3 years old max. As evisu only introduced those inside Yamane cloth patches recently.

As for those Evis other things i call fakes.

Seems to be par for the course, for buyers of stuff like that from that neck of the woods...give him a few days then send a reminder, I'll bet he hastily apologises and make payment. I reckon you coulda priced them higher, and you'd still have sold them.

As for the 2101s, I still maintain what I said privately: the denim looks really similar to No.13 denim in those pics...
