This definitely is a story for the ages. Seriously. When you have kids Crash and still have those jeans you can tell them all about it!

its a few pages back, ctb won a pair (shown above) through ebay.japan or something like that...

then...

it was sent to the wrong address

and fortunately....

it was eddie who got it (yes all the way in the philippines)

crazy huh?

The Evisu roadshow was in town today at Selfridges, at a promotion evening organised in partnership with GQ Magazine...

Kanji was painting jeans for customers, and they had a little background artwork going on...they've been customising a lot of outlets recently in the UK, finding a 'theme' that reflects the area's 'heritage', no pun intended...

The Birmingham Bull featured as part of the backdrop, I'll get a better pic when it's all finished:

Some jeans, before and after:

And some gratuitous porn of Lot 2000:

Found out a bit more about next season's stuff, including some Deluxe jeans that will have angora as an 'ingredient', and also some more Wrangler-inspired jeans - instead of the 'W' on the back pocket, they'll have an upside-down gull...

Interesting! I was watching TV the other night and Selfridges owner's are one of the wealthiest family's. In case anyone cares. I didn't know they have been around for 100 years.

repaired the crotch again... and then skated in them and blew it out again. they are sitting in my room waiting to be repaired as soon as i feel like pulling my sewing machine out

Doesn't sound too good....Hopefully, it's because they were a sample, but your other pairs weren't doing this, and you bought them loose......

I know Kaihara is a respected mill, but this is a tad bit worrisome.

No.2 Black Kamome - worn daily for 6 weeks, getting their first wash today (gentle cycle, cold water)....denim has softened up immensely over the duration. Grey, miserable day means I could only get pics with the flash, which has really taken the edge off of them. Oh well....:
