Trail biking today on an offshore island, was a beautiful day, wished I had a hard tail mountain bike instead of a fixed gear road bike though.

My Nudies AJs and I took a trip to Nashville, TN, and the first stop was at Imogene + Willie. I bought a fantastic pair of Willie rigid at this beautiful service station turned denim factory/shop. It was cool to see the small group of old sewing machines making the very same jeans being sold on the other side of the store, and the sales people were awesome. I wish I would have taken more photos than just this one: me, outside the shop, holding my old Nudies and wearing my new Imogene + Willies.

Figured I'd update the last few months of life here...

Still living here...not my neighborhood, but they all look the same anyway...

Where the locals don't always use common sense...

Head out to the backyard for climbing on ancient defensive structures (only once a month when tour guiding friends / relatives)

Slowly giving up on digital...seeing mainly this way now...

Thus, shooting rolls and rolls and rolls of defunct company products...

Really fast boats to cool European / Asian hybrid cities

Complete with ruins of colonial Christianity...

and lowly street vendors

Ride with a good pack of devoted cyclists (all of whom were absent for said group photograph)

...and take it easy on the lake, like a good Minnesotan should always do in summer.

*note: some activities completed in jeans, some not, due mainly to extreme summer heat and wearing of practical garments for sweat reduction*

then we went to a 21st, me and parties dont go well, so i hid in a corner

Visited Iceland for a couple of weeks. Used my jeans for most of the hiking as well as horseback riding. Turns out when riding for the first time in your life you feel more like a cowboy than you look like in reality.
