That's a good look on you DDML. After seeing these trousers on you guys I am contemplating picking up a pair. At first sight I thought they were a little too frankensteinish for me, but on you they don't look too weird. The 7161s are a bit more frankensteiny.

they are really great pants

i really can't say enough about the pockets at the hems

and they are a big relief from 501 repros or classic leepros

very forgiving cut (especially after wearing the evisu specials)

my only gripe is that i wish they were chainstitched at the hem

(a wise man once said: using chainstitch your train of jeans are like fading wind)

Are they single needle throughout? Or is there some chainstitched seams. If they have some chainstitched seams then it is a bit weird that they don't have the hem chainstitched. They are "trousers" though, which usually don't have a chainstitched hem. Are they blind stitched at the hem? Has anyone taken up close details of the jeans inside out?

Too many questions and so little answers!!!! Someone help me out.

i will answer in more detail later but i am wearing them at the mo' and can't be bothered to take em off; i will say it looks like the seams are chainstitched; the hem is single-stitched

i can't remember if detailed pics of the trousers have been posted

if not, i will be sure to do that before my tenure is through

for now, pics:

DDML or Cotton Duck can answer properly but the C.D.'s posts have the details inside out...

here and here

more easily read in full: http://www.cottonduck.net/164463/MF-S-c-Riders-Dungarees

can't see the in and outseams closely enough, from a distance looks like they are felled with a plain lockstitch though? Mr Freedom and Self Edge websites don't have full specs...

Quickly checked;

both in- and outseams as well as the rear rise are chainstiched.

Front rise, waistband and hems aren't.

Must note that up until last season's Ps-09, all MFSC jeans have been single needle stitched throughout and have never featured chainstiched hems.

On a different note, what's going down with the Double Volante jeans?

ok so yeah

i just got my camera unpacked and sorted

in the interim i have moved out of the city into the suburbs

jeans are filthy but i have no washer yet

this is outside of work before my shift

during the wolf moon a couple weeks back (i've sort of lost track of time tbh)

4349506139_e6d99c9dce.jpg

this is inside work on that same morning

4350253242_40772007e0.jpg

this is one of the last photos of me at my old house:

4349506577_79ac331b6b.jpg

this has been my uniform for the last couple weeks i guess

and yeah, my new house, a fixer upper:

4349506945_6ba53bc42f.jpg

been tearing up carpets and shoveling snow

i have to say these jeans are the worst for snow shoveling

snow just piles into the hem pockets

you can tell these are of californian origin
