Today was my last day with the jeans. I'm sending them tomorrow (to Australia, so it might take some time until the next set of updates).

The weather was nice, so I got on my bike, and biked.

Lincoln.

More campus buildings.

dsc06100m.jpg

The ugliest building in town. I hate this castle thing.

Badger and cows. Yup, we're in Wisconsin.

dsc06104c.jpg

Poor attempt at a waywt.

dsc06105s.jpg

Cheese heads.

For Kix.

A canal, on the eastern part of town.

Geese...

...and some different kind of bird.

I washed the jeans yesterday, took some pictures, will post them at some point.

don't check this thread for a week and completely miss a little kiwi pop discussion? bummer.

the clean, the bats, the chills - the holy trinity of kiwi pop. though all the early flying nun bands are pretty spectacular. tall dwarfs are another standout.

track down the "dunedin double ep" if you can (mp3s that is - you'd have a very difficult time finding the vinyl), because it is superb and (along with the clean's "tally ho" single - ahem) was the jumping off point for all that stuff.

Yeah, I have the Dunedin Double ep, and it is excellent. I think the Verlaines and the JPSE were my favorite bands of the lot, but the Able Tasmans, Bird Nest Roys and all the bands with the Jefferies were also amazing.

Tall Dwarfs:

In other news, I sent the jeans yesterday. Should be between 6 to 10 days before they reach Five.

Ooe's are looking awesome...!

So this would be 6 washes in 6 months, right?

This proves that you don't have to wait 6months to wash for a great looking pair..

They look awesome so far!

Maybe some of you have seen the same places and images from the last locomotive tour, but Melbourne is pretty small..:-)

Nothing much, just went to the city and stop by the Shrine of Remembrance, a war memorial place, on my way home.. basically you can see part of the city from the balcony.
