This site has the sterlingwears for $75 but only in limited sizes. I don't really know how the sizing work exactly except to size down 2 from your actual chest size. I bought one last winter and had to return it because the sleeves were way too big. The chest and body were pretty fitted though. I'm thinking about getting another one and having the sleeves tailored.

I'm gonna check out the schott's tomorrow.

The Edifice on Zozo is pretty nice, for those looking for a shorter peacoat, 40,000Y too, not too bad:

edit- that just sold out within the last 10 minutes, hahaha. Had been up on Zozo for approx 15 hours.

Sorry to bring this back from page 2 but...

to bring this thread back to its original topic, I'm loving this peacoat from Gucci's A/W05 season...

I've seen this one before... I love it. Also, if nobody else mentioned it, Houston has at least (that I know of) 1 amazing peacoat. I can't find the link but I've seen it around supershopper not too long ago.

"OK. This is a special circumstance. Because of marketing deals with European stores, we are not allowed to tell you the name if this manufacturer. We can, however, tell you everything about them, and if you buy their products you'll see the name on the tag, or if you come into our store, or, even if you call and ask.

So, the company has been in business in the NY area since 1913, producing some of the finest outerwear made. Their Peacoats are made according to Navy specs and cannot be beat."

I wonder what company it is. It looks pretty nice and I have to say it's a lot cheaper than most of the ones posted above.

I'd guess Spiewak. Huge buttons look like a Spiewak peacoat I saw recently.
