got them at the sneaker shop on canal in chinatown for like 40-45?

they also have the slip ons too... (referrin to the denim joints)

as for pinstripes, in nyc, chek classic kicks and dqm.

i prefer the sk8-hi, old skool or slip on to the chukka, personally, but it's just a typical, classic shoe. you can't 'front' on it.

except the checkerd slip-ons, you can kinda front on those.

These are Vault. I bought them at a store called BEN-G in Amsterdam for EUR 70,-. A couple of stores here carried them.. the pic in this thread is from http://www.5050store.com. You can still find some pairs online, I think.

the sole on the vans is too fat/tall to look good.... but i guess essentially they are a skate shoe..

for pure aesthetic, them pumps/slips you can pick up at supermarkets and shit are nicer.. normally have a less deep sole.. 100x nicer..
