How do you wash your shirts?

I have a few shirts I want to clean for the first time:

Bape, BBC, Burberry, etc

Some have prints on them. I don't want the shirts to shrink, or the prints to crack.

I'm debating whether to hand wash in the sink in cold water or machine wash cold on gentle....either way, Hang drying it after.

Any suggestions to preserve the life of these expensive shirts?

mm.. read the label? just make sure you wash them inside out.

They aren't fragile or anything. It takes a while to wear down a tee's print, unless the application is total crap.

A cold hand wash would be your safest bet, but a gentle machine wash shouldn't mess them up. A hand wash and hang dry will do almost nothing to the shirt. They'll still look like new. 100% cotton is pretty damn durable.

Read the label. Wash it inside out on the gentlest cycle and hang dry.

if all you ever do is hang dry your shirts they can lose their shape. at least a little time spent in 'tumble-dry-low mode' can help get the wrinkles and lint out and get the shape back before finishing them on the rack.
