been counting down the days for breaking bad (s4)...miss it so much

Breaking Bad is the best show on television, no question. In my opinion it's the best drama since The Wire. I can't wait to see Walter lay down the fucking law.

does anyone still watch the killing? i can't think of another show that started off so promisingly and went off the rails so quickly. so many scenes are ham-fisted or just boring, the storytelling is frustrating and full of holes. literally the only reason i keep watching it is just because i've already made it this far and may as well stick with it just to see who the killer is

I'm just watching the killing to be over as well at this point. This last episode was really bad, dude sneaks around with another dude to prevent a female circumcision. Really you couldnt tell your fucking wife???!??!?! I could care less on the election, the show spends like 70% on this storyline. Its like 6 episodes and it seems like there is guaranteed to be a red herring revealed at the end of each episode.

i went to this site: http://masterofsopranos.wordpress.com/

and i agree with you guys. The way the last scene was shot, with the repition of tony's POV and the scene earlier in the episode w/ bobby baccalieri where he says "when it happens, you probably dont even know it happens" which is crazy because the bullet would travel faster than the speed of sound. Thats why tony saw black. Which means meadow walked in to see it

that last scene is so epic

This attached clip is one of my favorite scenes from The Sopranos, for several reasons. Not only is it perfectly played by both Gandolfini and Imperioli, it's one of the last good moments for their characters as long-time friends. I really like how Imperioli reaches down for his gun before they back up to grab the wine. Plus, Christopher was my favorite character, and this is one of his really good moments -- "That's who I am, you mangy cocksuckers!"

Edit: Youtube won't allow me to embed the video --

if you don't like the wire. you're not doing tv right. right?

pretty sure a lot of people have/had the same reaction to it though, you just need to realize they're telling a 5 season story that never gets much resolution even across the entire series.
