banshee s4 e1 up. anyone watch? worth it?

Have yet to finish season 3 but will probably catch up this coming week, still a big fan of the series after two and a half seasons so hoping that the new season also will be good.

On a less serious note, I've been kind of surprised by how relatively good Lucifer is. On paper it's a generic "new crime every episode with a special assisting charader", but the overarching plotline is actually pretty well tied into the episodes and gets way more space and time in any given episode than what is common for these types of series. Main actor also does a good job portraying a bored and entertaining Lucifer.

All I really want is new episodes of "You're the worst" though. The last episode so far (which I rewatched some day ago) is one of my favorite pieces of tv ever.

i don't know why i do it to myself, i've been psyching myself allllll fucking season about what was supposed to happen in the finale of TWD

 

the creators are total fucking idiots, they're going to lose all and any interest by the next season with that shit ending. nevermind that 75% of the episode has the gang literally going around in circles, they decide they can top it off with another gimmick ending. the first time they had built some real tension and they blew it.

 

negan wasn't the surprise you morons, it's what happens after.

 

 

*oh, and if it wasn't boneheaded enough, no way it won't be spoiled during filming or some other shit. morons.

 

**this could have been amc's red wedding, reaction videos and all that shit execs jizz themselves dreaming about. the most memorable moment from the comics, it was so easy to do.

i was halfway paying attention but at first i thought it was carl. they did say fucked with camera angles so people wouldn't be rewinding and immediately guessing.

 

TWD has been garbage television for too long now and this just solidifies how bad the writers are

Yup, finished it. I thought it was a well executed book adaptation. Mostly carried by strong acting all around. Might feel a little slow in ep 2-3 but picks up from there. It's a mini-series so I think it's definitely worth the time.

They changed a bunch of stuff from the comic, but it totally worked. The first episode was brutal and hilarious. Casting is great. 

 

The only shitty thing is having to wait two weeks for ep 2.

Really starting to lose interest in The Americans. It seems like the overall plot has kinda fizzled out and now the show is all about the teenage daughter being a teenager. They were just renewed for the final two seasons but meh

Really? I think this GoT season has been great, non stop action. None of this setup bullshit like previously. Seems like it has strayed from the earlier book adaptation and is basically just David Benioff's version with the dialogue and writing, but still entertaining enough

I think GoT is garbage atm sorry. The writing and the direction the shit is going in is just fanservice to all the #teamdany #teamjonsnow or whatever the fuck people are on.

 

I mean seriously, the plot armor on the characters is insane now. SPOILERS from tonight: Jon went through that entire fight and didn't get a single scratch. Not to mention him coming back from the dead ...

 

Arya gets stabbed multiple times in the gut? Oh well, let's just take a nap then do a bunch of parkour and not give a fuck. Arya's entire arc was basically a waste of time. 

 

Not that I thought that highly of Game of Thrones in the first place. I think, for the most part, the books are done so much better and there are hardly any show characters that I would take over their book counterparts (maybe Ramsay Bolton is better in the show than the books). 

 

The show is stale and predictable. I used to always have to be on my toes about who would die, but at this point all of the interesting characters are basically dead and we're left with the MOST boring, vanilla, uninteresting characters. Sansa, Jon Snow, Daenerys ... tell me one interesting thing about any of them ... 

 

I've disliked the show since Stannis was twisted into some child burning villain instead of the true baller king that he is. The last episode I was impressed by was Hardhome. That was a pretty decent episode. Everything else has been pretty shit though. Predictable garbage.
