the TE comes with a square gate, i switched mine to octo and like it better, took some getting used to at first, apparently the japanese cabinets have octo gates as well

an "american" stick, something you'll see most MvC2 players using and such, usually has a Happ competition stick (bat top, circle gate with no edges) with Happ convex buttons.

another stupid question:

I never used the shoryuken shortcut on a pad, but it is helpful on the stick when I think to use it. but is it just me or does it not work for backwards dp?(ibuki's jump on your face shit, adon's jaguar kick, etc.)

Might start picking up Street Fighter as a game to play when I'm bored. I have a XBOX 360 Controller and I'm looking at some of the more classic Street Fighter titles that I can play on my PC with the 360 controller.

download cp3s emulator, you can play 3rd strike on it

i forgot where but im sure you can find a download pack for it, i downloaded the emulator + sf3, sf3:2nd, sf3:3rd all in one pack.

if you want to stray away from sf and get another popular game download null dc and get mvc2. just a heads up this is the dreamcast mvc2, not the xbox one which means you can do unlimited string combos basically.
