the guy from sassoon has got some new jeans out. made in china from japenese denim. don't know where the wash is done but it looked resonable as far as washes go. the cut was narrow.

Lol I found a pair of Sassoon jeans my dad had. They were really ugly IMO. The back pocket designs were bad, and I think they were bought in a bad prewash.

sorry took my time, the sasoon guy's jeans are all, the only cut i have seen is is the gall a skinny straight with slight distressing, made in china.

I'm not sure if were talking about the same guy, Paul Guez (maybe spelled

incorrectly) original manufacturer and owner of Sassoon has a posse of denim

companies under the umbrella Blue Concept Inc. Their lines are all

fairly similar some japanese denim, some cone, fashion jeans.... Lines are:

Taverniti So, Yanuk, Antik, Imitation of Christ, etc...

benny, that's interesting, I didn't know that. He should reintroduce a line with the original label, I'm sure there would be lots of takers, either for the nostalgia or ironic value.

The truth is it is probably the same guy [Paul G], the only info i had was a sals paitch from the guy at Fabric. they are Japanese denim and didn't look that great IMHO.

The Jordache relaunch... There was a bunch of articles late '04 about the son of

the original owners, getting into the lux denim biz. Doesn't seem to have

crashed and burnt, but hard to tell where it goes from here
