the only Korean foods i eat nowadays:

-assorted K-BBQs and the doenjangjjigae from only one KBBQ place near my house

-dak han mari (place in front of my house)

-kimchijjigae and jeongols

-yukgaejang

-gamjatang

-mandu and mandugook, I only really like it from one place near my house though

-sometimes cop dat jjimdak

-very rarely cop dat selleongtang, if I am up late

Haven't eaten Korean chinee in a minute. Maybe 5 or 6 years since i ate some jajangmyun or something. haha.

I've never been a big soup person, but I've been eating soup a lot lately.

Carrot and Butternut squash soup.

Various noodle soups.

Traditional beef stew.

i had a korean friend whose mom used to make kimchijjigae and gamiatang - loved gamiatang especially. i've been trying to find a korean place in san diego that makes it well but the best thing we've got is one restaurant that does pretty much exclusively sundubu and a few other jjigae soups that i personally fucking love but i mean what the hell do i know about korean food. other than that we've just got the usual kbbq places.

keeps telling me i need to try dak han mari too but havent found anywhere that has it yet - sounds damn good.
