Culver City and Santa Monica

Everyone seems to stay north of Wilshire or on the East side, and I want to compile a list of things to do on the West side. I have a car, but I don't want to drive 30 minutes every night I want to meet a friend for a drink.

I just moved to Culver City, and I've found a few spots, but I definitely need help lengthening my list...

I've been to Mandrake, The Backstage Bar & Grill, and some random other bars. I heard there are some good art galleries to check out?

What else do I need to see? I have a few friends visiting in the next couples weeks and I want to show them a good time.
