Cloak Black One Button Suit

Summer collection suit, comfortably light and excellent quality finish - horn buttons, acetate lining, working buttons on the cuff. Cloak's design details are on point, with slim lapel and sharply angled cut that comes to just below the hip. Bought to wear to a friends wedding, worn only a handful of times - could do with a dry-clean though. Lined trousers with a straight leg and low rise (the waistband is cut accordingly, but could easily be taken in 34" width). The inseam was hemmed short by the previous owner, but there is still 5.5cm (~2") to let out.

Robert Geller SS08 Beige Trench

I really love this piece, but I've got too many coats at the moment. Lightweight and 1/4 lined; perfect for layering all year round. As with the Cloak suit; excellent quality finish - horn buttons, fully working double breast, cuffs, epaulettes. Thoughtful details like the hidden fixture on the waist belt, stopping it from slipping. Pleated armholes form a nice hybrid between a raglan and a set sleeve. Slim fit throughout, sized so you could comfortably wear a suit or sweater underneath. Immaculate condition. Retailed for $679 in the US and much more locally here in Australia.

Kris Van Assche Black V-neck Sweater

FW07 piece, but I believe KVA repeats this piece seasonally. Twisted seam on the collar, patch pocket on the left breast, cuttingly slim fit. It looks a little wonky in pictures, but it's designed so that when it's worn, it fills out to its proper proportions. I adore the Merino wool used in this piece. Soft against the skin, insluating without behing heavy - the fabric quality superb with a light stretch, its better than other pieces by Balenciaga or Dior Homme. Brand new with tags, too small for me! Retailed for $675 in Australia. Recommended for a 44 or 46 chest.

Buying Prorsum online can be a bit confusing, so I'll give a quick lesson. After Chris Bailey was taken on as Creative Director, the name on tags was changed to 'Burberry' - any garments with "Burberry's" - even if they say Prorsum, are from older collections. The quality may not be bad, but they're definitely not on the same level as todays pieces - in design or quality.

Burberry has two lines; 'Burberry London' and 'Burberry Prorsum'. Don't be decieved - 99% of the 'Burberry' stuff for sale around is the London line, which is your typical nova-check sporting department store garbage. The London line often has beige tags, where as the Prorsum line has ink blue tags - but not always, I have Prorsum pieces with beige tags. Also, I have Prorsum pieces that don't have Prorsum marked on the brand tag - just 'Burberry' - so look carefully at all the tags and see if Prorsum is written on the care tag or manufactuers tag, it usually will be. But if it says 'London' anywhere, it's not Prorsum.

Burberry Prorsum Brown Pea Coat (XL) - SOLD

This piece was an epic find - I cannot put enough emphasis on the quality of this piece. Size 50, but unlike other Prorsum, that is the size in Inches/Imperial, not CM/Metric - so this piece wound up far too big for me. The chest really does measure 50", which means it'll be far too large for the average Superfuture patron. Would have retailed for over $1500. The fabric is mind-meltingly rich - it puts my Dior Homme pea coat to shame, it's in a whole other league of quality. Burberry deliver this classic piece with all the traditional details, fully buttoning double breast, horn buttons with engraved backs, cupro lining and traditional details.

It'd be an amazing gift for the right sized person. Maybe your father?

Burberry Prorsum SS08 Pleat Placket Dress Shirt

Excellent condition, only selling because I'm narrowing down my wardrobe. Tasteful implementation of Bailey's ruching, pleating and frilling decorations. The exact colour is hard to capture, it probably comes through best in the fit picture below. Comes with tag, replacement buttons and Burberry Prorsum cuff links. RRP around $400.

Prorsum shirts are some of the best fitting that I own, the waist is heavily tapered (more than Dior Homme) and is uncompromisingly slim.

You can see here how heavily tapered it is from the armpit seam through the waist.

Neil Barrett SS06 Twisted Seam Trousers

Great twisted seam design, hard to capture laying flat. Barrett's tailoring and construction is superb. Too large for me, size 50, comparable to a size 34. Linen / cotton blend is perfect for summer, dark brown with pinstripe. Excellent condition. 4cm or 1.5" to let out on the inseam.
