APC English v Nudie RRDS fit help

I have a pair of APC English in a 31 which fit me nice, a bit loose in the waist but I can live with that. I got a pair of RRDS in a 31 also thinking they'de fit the same but they were way way tighter. I was just wondering if anyone owns both jeans I'm talking about and could advice me on sizing help for a pair of RRDS. Thanks

Assuming you're about a 33" waist (since APCs tend to run 2 sizes big), I would recommend buying a 33" Regular Ralf.

Think you might be right Minya I probably would be. A 32 would do me in a looser fitting jean. But I have a few pairs of jeans in 33. Its just nice to have a second opinion. I've been after a pair for ages

i own both in size 31 --

APC English -- these fit pretty snug on my waist. i wish i would've gotten a 32, bc after i washed my 31's they shrank a little in the waist and i had to wear them wet to stretch them out. great cut p for a pair of straight leg jeans. they are just the right amount of looseness without being baggy

Nudie RRDGS -- i'm not sure how the grey casts stretch compared to the selvages, but mine have stretched alot in the waist to wear this a bit of a gape if i wear a belt. the only thing that keep them from falling off is how slim the legs are on me. i don't even have big legs and these are pretty close fitting on my thighs.

I have a pair of English in 29 and a pair of RRDS in 30. Both fit me very well, with the English being just slightly tighter.

I'm a 34" but usually buy high-end jeans in size 36" (for comfort and a little looseness).

What size should I get for these jeans??

APC? Nudie? Levi Vintage?

Thanks for the repliies everyone. Wish there was a shop near me that stocked them. I think the best thing for me to do is order a 32 ans a 33 and send one back. My cards nearly maxed at the minute so I'll have to wait a while.

You should listen to Minya and go with the 33. Most people forget that after the first wash that RRDS will skrink back to original size, maybe even slightly smaller. GET 32 unles you never will wash or dry clean.
