need Levis 506xx 1st edition buying guide

hi guys

I didn't have time to download your file, but the eBay jacket looks overpriced to me. Others might know more about pricing than I do, but that seems a lot of money for an LVC repro. Last time I saw that model was on a sale rail in Regent St for about $80.

I don't keep as close an eye on the repro jacket variants as I do on the pants, but I don't see why any used LVC Type 1 jacket should fetch over $200 or so; at that price level, I would expect to get the real thing.

the 506 you're buying is LVC, right? Has the modern white size tag inside, etc? 'R' symbol next to the LEVIS onte red tag? Like the eBay one? It;'s gotta be more like $200...
