Skate shoes?

Recommended Posts

I know some people on here skate, and I'm in the market for some new skate shoes, so I was wondering if anyone has any recommendations. I'd prefer them to be reasonably inexpensive, since they won't be (one of) my main pair(s) of shoes. I also have wide feet, another point to consider, though I think most skate shoes tend to be pretty good on that front.

Also, even beyond recommendations, are there any skate shoes companies that you guys just plain like? Any preferences?

THE MOST SLEPT ON SKATEABLE SHOE HAS GOTTA BE THE

trainer_1_premium.jpg

TIM O'CONNER COULDN'T OF PICKED A BETTER ONE TO KNOCK

SERIOUS POINTS OF CONSIDERATION:

MID HEIGHT

WIDE BED

LEGIT STRAP - OTHERS MODELS HAVE 'EM BUT LOOK OUT OF PLACE

GOOD LEATHER

NOT AN SB

PURE STEE

JUST RUN A PAIR AND YOU'LL BE SOLD

SHIT IS WACKâ„¢

I have a thing for being able to feel my board. And a thing for vulcanized natural gum rubber outsoles. Call me crazy.

I skate in cheap Vans Era's, a half-size too big, with an SB insole from a pair of dunks. Crazy board feel and super cushion. Put on a thin layer of shoe-goo with an ice cube to prevent them from blowing out too quick.

Vans Rowley Originals and Slims I dig too. As well as Emerica Reynolds 3's

got to agree, although the savier o'conners got the ill padding, these are probably my favorite shoes to skate in ever. Those air trainer max 91 Bo Jackson joints were nice too...

Looky here, it's just the way the cookie tear. Prepare to get hurt and mangled like Kurt Angle, rookie year.
