I don't really see that as a stand-alone gimmick, at least not around here. I see a lot of the Martial-looking kids mixing the steampunk thing with Nazism. I don't even mean nazi chic, I mean Mauser Handgun chic. That hybrid looks good, but not the steam thing as a solitary gimmick. At least not any more. It definately has its appeal with me but when partnered with restraint.
