so..... today after class i was sittign down and i spotted two fucking holes in my jeans. now the holes arent big.. and i'll keep wearing the jeans for sure.. but im just wondering if i should patch them up or not? im just concerned that they might get bigger is all.. here are the pics.

im mostly concerned with the lower hole... seeing as how it's so near the crotch.

so.. should i patch them up or let them be?

honestly dont even know. they werent there last night. so somehwere between my bio lecture and lab is when i got them. im assuming something on the seat i was sitting on.. but i didnt even feel anything. soo :confused::confused:

those holes are strange, too. no signs of abrasion. it does look like they were tunneled thru by termites or something actually. or a cigarette hole, but no signs of burning. its a mystery...

I'd say moth holes. Looks similar to a pair of jeans I had a while ago. I hung them out to dry overnight. Not a good idea. You could darn the smaller hole. Patch the bigger one.

they already fit pretty good, but there is still some room left in the waist and thigh-area.

Yeah - that's exactly what these look like..looks like 2 cases have appeared...

It's likely that the jeans - or the denim got "infected" along the way - let's see if more cases turn up...

IMO those holes are from the chemicals in your lab class.. either H2SO4 or maybe NaOH.. how concentrated are the chemicals dude ? the holes seem hardcore.. :eek:

I would say that's to fast for consumption by moths. I'd bet on it being something from your chem class. You must of gotten a few drops on you. Any holes in your thighs? Because that's a more likely area to have spilled stuff on.
